A young Nigerian man identified as Salihu Dasuki has become the youngest senior lecturer at a prestigious university in the United Kingdom.
The 29-year-old lecturer was promoted to the position of a senior lecturer of Information Systems on Monday, September 25, at Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom.
He also revealed that he was an assistant professor in Nigeria for five years, prior to the promotion.
Dasuki who was overjoyed by his achievement announced the promotion on his Twitter page thanking God for the opportunity.
He wrote:
By Allah’s grace, not only am I the youngest, I resume teaching as a senior lecturer of computing at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
