Angry students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo state, has prevented 2017 JAMB candidates from entering the premises of the institution to write their exams.

According to Nigerian Tribune, the students had mobilised themselves as early as 6:00am this morning and stationed themselves at strategic entrances into the institution.

It was gathered that the students reportedly barricaded all the entrances, thereby, preventing any movement in and outside of the campus. Even staff were denied entry.

One of the students who pleaded anonymity said:

We are resolved to deny JAMB candidates entry this morning to let the world know that the on-going strike in LAUTECH is still on.

As of the time of filing this report, all the gates leading to the campus were still under lock and key.
